Mixtapes comes at us with a strong release from Animal Style Records. Coming in at around 15 minutes, the title of the album is correct in saying it is a short collection of short songs. With a great mix of female and male vocals it really intertwines and makes for some good melodies. It has sounds like Iron Chic, Moldy Peaches and a little of Lemuria. My favorite cut off of this album is “Your Little Hoodrat Friend”. This is definitely worth picking up and taking a listen to. You can stream “I’m Like” below.
