If the vocals on this album sound eerily familiar, it is probably because the frontman for The Heat Tape is none other then Brett Hunter of Dear Landlord and The Copyrights. This release comes to us from Red Scare Industries. I have had this album for just a few days but have already heard it more times then I can count and will be adding it to my regular rotation for listening. This is a lo-fi approach and works really well for this recording. After listening to this album numerous times it leaves me wanting more. I hope that The Heat Tape is more then just a one album side project and graces us with more releases. This one is truly a great CD and comes highly recommended.
