Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday
Dubbed as the ‘Lady Gaga’ of Hip Hop, Nicki Minaj from Trinidad is going to do well with her debut release, ‘Pink Friday’. Produced by Young Money Records, this album is well positioned to significantly infiltrate the younger generation of quasi-pop fans, but will also attract mature audiences with its fresh 808 beats and Nicki’s gritty sexy style. I begrudgingly enjoyed the song, ‘Raven’s Revenge’ featuring Eminem because I’m not usually a fan of his. Some of the songs are just too poppy for me but overall this is a good release that is currently in my playlist.
